This milestone event was attended by community members, clergy, and guests, all united in a spirit of gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to the mission of Brother Pedro.

The Silver Jubilee celebration was a day filled with joy, spiritual reflection, and community engagement. The event program featured a number of significant activities designed to honor the past while looking forward to the future.

Opening Ceremony:

The celebration began with an opening ceremony led by the Provincial Secretary, who welcomed attendees and introduced the theme of the jubilee: “Living the Legacy of Love and Service.” This theme resonated throughout the day, encouraging participants to reflect on how they can embody Brother Pedro’s spirit in their lives.

Eucharistic Celebration:

A highlight of the day was a solemn Eucharistic Mass celebrated by His Excellency Most Rev.Dr. M.D. Prakasam, Bishop of Nellore.The liturgy incorporated readings and prayers that emphasized themes of service, community, and divine love. The joyful atmosphere was enhanced by music from the Bethlemite Choir, who provided uplifting hymns that inspired congregants.

Reflections and Speeches:

Following the Mass, a series of reflections were shared by our beloved Provincial Sr. Lilly Josephine Tharigopala, who recounted her experiences with the teachings of Brother Pedro. Her heartfelt testimonies illustrated the profound impact of the Province’s work over the past 25 years, highlighting initiatives in education, social justice, and community support.

Cultural Presentations:

The celebration included vibrant cultural performances that showcased the diversity of the community. Dance groups and school band of St. Paul’s EMS entertained the audience with traditional and contemporary performances, fostering a spirit of unity and joy.
